Seminars & Workshops
Neuroscience and EQ
During the past century, neuroscientists and psychologists have viewed emotion through different lenses. According to many contemporary psychologists our emotions are a product of the way in which we interpret the world. the way we think about, or appraise, the significance of an event determines whether it will make us happy or sad, angry or glad.
In contrast, neuroscientists have viewed emotions as expressions of inherited programs for action in specific situations that have been of importance to humans and related species for millions of years, complex emotions are learned responses to primary reinforcers that have been built on top of these simple and proponent response tendencies.
In this one-day introductory workshop, you will be able to learn:
- What is emotion and how emotion impact our behaviors?
- What is the physiological basis for positive emotions?
- what brain systems compute reward and generate affect?
- Happiness & Neuroplasticity: how can we increase our own happiness?
Neuroscience of Communication
Whether we like it or not, people determine our effectiveness and competence in communication in less than one millisecond. Moreover, when people are forming an opinion of us, verbal communication only accounts for 7% of what they remember.
How does one person actually communicate to another person? In fact all communication follows from shared symbolic codes in the brain.
In this one-day workshop, you will be able to learn:
- What is the Brain Process for communication?
- Why our brains find change and differences are difficult to process?
- The “domains” that have a major impact on our brains and therefore on our motivation and engagement
- SCARF model for communication
Neuroscience for Decision Making
Decisions. Decisions. Decisions. Each day you make thousands of them.
Understanding the neuroscience behind making a decision can be helpful when targeting new behaviors and changing bad habits. When you reach a fork in the road and need to make the right decision for your long-term health and well-being, using the brain science behind decision-making is a useful tool.
In this one-day workshop, you will be able to learn:
- A deeper understanding of how the human brain reasons, plans, and solves problem
- Greater insight into the factors affect the decision-making process
- Three- brain approach for aligned decision making
Neuroscience for Transformation
Why do I act this way?” and “What can I do to not do this next time?”
Wouldn’t it be a great idea if we can use neuroscience to give ourselves a better quality of life?
In this one day interactive introductory session, you would be able to learn and bring home practical knowledge and techniques about:
- Basic Brain functions
- 10 mind blowing discoveries about human brain
- The Inter-connection of Brain, Mind and Relationship
- The Triangle of Health: Integration and & the Cultivationn of Wellbeing
Neuroscience for Personal Leadership
Why decision making is NOT rational?
Why multitasking is a myth and is deadly to productivity?
Why focusing on the problem often makes it worse?
…..
How to create the right conditions for being in flow?
How to change mindset in teams and organizations?
How to create sustainable changes?
….
If these questions ever come across your mind, then you are coming to the right place!
The three day Neuroscience of Leadership equips you with new knowledge about the most important insights that have emerged from the neuroscience field and why they matter. We take this knowledge and translate it into what it means for brain-friendly leadership.
Throughout the course, we refer to the latest evidence to emerge from neuroscience, neuroleadership, interpersonal neurobiology, neuroeconomics, and positive psychology and share new models that operate with the brain in mind.
